About Building Brighter Futures
Building Brighter Futures was formed and registered in 2004 as an independent charity with the following stated objectives:
The charity's objectives are to provide sponsorship which will fund educational support for deaf, disabled, disadvantaged and deprived children in Uganda, in order that these children can integrate constructively, educationally and socially within their local communities.
Young people and others in the UK will be encouraged to participate in this sponsorship programme.
Building Brighter Futures supports two schools in Uganda, The Kavule Parents School for the Deaf which is situated just outside Mbale in Eastern Uganda and The Bukeka Childrens Centre which is a 45 minute drive from Mityana in central Uganda.
