Genevieve Gardener, from the U.K., had an interest in working with childern in Africa after teaching in a deaf and blind school in the U.S.A. In the summer of 2009 Genevieve spent several months researching and discovering the deaf and blind schools in Uganda. After a short break in the U.K. she has returned to Uganda for at least a year. Genevieve sends us emails of her adventures, and we are happy to share them with you, as her point of view is so unique and informative. |
